History

Prospectus

To contribute to the creation of the future prosperity of our country.
The essential that built a firm foundation for scientific and technological progress as soon as possible, to create condition which encourage the growth of scientific & technological development.

The Aim

To contribute to the achievement of these objectives, by offering for national scientific and technological advancement.

The foundation will assist scientists and researchers from academic areas through grants in addition, it will award prizes to chose persons whose outstanding achievements have contributed to scientific and technological progress.

Foundation Establishment

ITSF was established in 1993 through 3 billion rupiah endowment by Toray Industries,. Inc.
The foundation is registered with and recognized by the Indonesia authority as an organization formed to advanced the objective of promoting and science and technology in Indonesia.

Foundation Objective

To contribute to the progress of "Science and Technology" in Indonesia.
Science and Technology will be limited in to the fields of natural science including environment, but not including clinical medicine and mathematics
